IMIA Web 2.0 Taskforce Portal

The Taskforce has made great advances in the two weeks since we set up this portal. We currently have 11 members from around the world - but are still looking for new and enthusiastic members to join us.

We continue to develop this portal - and Chris Paton has done a great job in just a couple of days in taking it on many steps - there is still more to appear as well.

We are also exploring several other applications, to which you will find links in the menu. Of particular interest, I think, are the Ning social space we have set up (a kind of 'Facebook for IMIA').

We will be pressing on with two projects in the short term (because we committed ourselves to working on them in time for the next IMIA General Assembly in May 2008 - the discussion paper on Web 2.0 and the online resource. But members will also be working on other projects within the scope of the Taskforce - and adding others as new ideas develop.
