IMIA Web 2.0 Taskforce Portal

For those who use social networking sites, you can join in IMIA-related groups on several of them.

On Facebook, there are two groups - IMIA (>>>) and IMIA Consumer health Informatics WG (>>>); thanks to Gunther Eysenbach for setting these up.

On LinkedIn, there is an IMIA group (>>>) .

The Medicine 2.0 Congress will take place in Toronto, Canada on September 4-5th, 2008.

Highlights:

The Taskforce has made great advances in the two weeks since we set up this portal. We currently have 11 members from around the world - but are still looking for new and enthusiastic members to join us.

We continue to develop this portal - and Chris Paton has done a great job in just a couple of days in taking it on many steps - there is still more to appear as well.

Welcome to the portal for the IMIA Web 2.0 Exploratory Taskforce. At present (09 September 2007), it is still in its early days; the IMIA General Assembly approved the Taskforce on 18 August, a core team had discussions at medinfo2007, and this Drupal install was started on 09 September 2007.

Further materials and functionality will be added over the next few weeks.
