Bursaries

The Society offers nursing, midwifery and Registrar bursaries. These are for £500 annually, and applications are usually considered and decided upon at the Spring meeting of the Society.

These bursaries are to the value of £500 and available for 'any purpose to assist in the advancement of Midwifery, gynaecology nursing or other allied professional studies.'

Trainees bursaries - for details of application process, download the document (MS Word format, 29kb) [updated 2012 version]

These bursaries are to the value of £500 and applications are invited from Specialist Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The award may be used for any purpose to assist in the advancement of obstetric or gynaecological studies, for example to fund a small research project or clinical study, to fund a visit to another centre to observe new techniques or to attend an educational course
